Sorry for the delay but were we had to stay last night the internet service was not working. Left Paris, Tx. around 6:30am to ride to Amarillo, Tx. to pick up Michele. Rode to Gainesville were we had breakfast at Trails Inn Rest. Then over to Quanah, Tx had lunch at Dutch’s Rest. both of these rest. were Mom and Pop type, so the food was great and the people were friendly to match the service. Afterwards John went looking for rattlesnakes on our way to get Michele, we finally arrived to her location but no rooms were available. We ended up riding 45 miles north to Damus, Tx for the night. We rode 455 miles – up date 2976. There is always a solution when we take time to see it.
