Day 17 was our anniversary so in the morning we slept a little late, afterwards Michele went back to the pool. Upon her return we got ready and went to Lulu’s for 46th celebration dinner; we truly enjoyed the meal and the view; Lulu’s is owed by Jimmy buffet’s sister. God has truly blessed us over the last 46 years. Day 18 will be our travel day home, sorry still having problems with the pictures I will try to post them on Facebook.

Today we went out I-10 East for a brief time before exiting on US 90 East so we could ride an airboat; we stopped at Gulf Coast Airboat tours and Gator Farm, They housed 96 gators on the farm with biggest measuring 15 feet. the ride was probably one of the best we have ever ridden, I would absolutely visit them again. if you ever go there ask for Captain Joe. we will be here in Orange beach until the 14th.

Sorry for not writing yesterday just to tired. We traveled I-10 East to Ocean springs, Ms., before checking into the hotel; we stopped at a place called The Shed a BBQ and Blues place with great food, music and atmosphere, we highly recommend the place. Today we went to Duffy’s located in Pierre Part, La. this the place where the Landry’s unload their gators. Michele enjoys watching Swamp Peoples, so nothing would we had to go to see if we catch them at Duffy’s. when we first got there Troy and Chase had just unloaded. we waited for a while to see if Jacob and some of the others would show up; after some time decided to grab some lunch of course at Landry’s Seafood Restaurant the meal was very good and well-priced definitely would eat there again. Tomorrow we will be heading to Ocean Springs, Ms. Having trouble loading pictures.

This morning after breakfast we headed out on I-10 East towards Morgan City, La. We Stopped at a place called In-Law’s Cajun Specialties for lunch, honestly, it was fair not sure I would eat there again. After a few more miles we stopped at Cajun Harley Davidson located in Lafayette, La. Arriving in Morgan City and resting for a short we went to the Morgan Restaurant, plenty of food with a great taste. We will be here until Thursday morning before continuing or track back towards home. On another note the bottom photo is the notorius Love Bug. Good night and God bless you!

Today we drove back roads to Baytown, Tx yes, a little longer but much safer, after checking in to the hotel we rode out to Monument Inn located on the Houston Bay excellent food with a enjoyable view it is called the Monument Inn because it is located close to San Jacinto Monument which commemorates the battle of 1836 which was the last battle to give Texas it’s independence; Gen. Sam Houton’s army defeated Gen. Antonio Lopez of Santa Anna forces. It’s time to call it a night. hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Labor Day.
