Left Bismarck, ND. around 7:15 am went out I-94, through Eastern North Dakato which is mainly flatland and wetland. Fargo, ND. is the home of Roger Maris, Michele noticed that as we passed through (Ms. baseball). Crossing into Minnesota at first it seems alot like Eastern ND. but then you start noticing small lakes on both side of the road and then rolling hills. There are so many lakes now we understand the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Mn.). Both eastern ND. and Western Mn. are very green and alot more trees but still have farm land and some cattle scattered into the landscape. We did ride over the Red River, on that note The Red, Mississippi and The St. Louis Rivers make up the watershed system in Minnesota. The day was mainly overcast needing to a wear a jacket all day, had a slight sprinkle of rain but nothing to really speak of. Miles today was 412 and 7710 to date.
