Left Natchez, MS. this morning around 9:00 am with overcast skies heading down Hwy. 61. If you consider riding the Blues Hwy. (61) when you get to Baton Rouge, LA. get off and find another route. There are so many Red lights and the speed limit is 65 mph so about the time you get going you have to hit the brakes. This is especially true going through Hammond, LA. which took us an hour to go 35 miles. We finally got on I-10 after having some lunch and made New Orleans in about 30 minutes. We had dinner on Bourbon Street at Nola’s. The food was good and the dessert even better. After dinner we walked Bourbon Street. Needless to say this is a world of its own (that prayer is definitely needed). Notice the shadow of Christ in one of the pictures coming from a statue. We were blown away with that. It was pretty cool to see considering what was going on here. Well it seems that where ever you look or have been there is always a need for prayer and for the Lord’s presence. May God’s glory shine on you and yours. God’s Speed from the cast of The Blues Hwy. Ride.
