This morning we left for Jackson Hole, WY. with a temperature of 46 degrees and a mist in the air. We rode out WY. 120 passing through Wind River Indian Reservation with the Owl Creek Mountain range to our west. Riding through Wind River Canyon we saw the river running along its sides as the rails for the Iron Horse ran along the foot of the mountains with there halos of gray peering down up on us. Continuing south on WY. 789 to Riverton where we took 26 West to Dubois, stopping there for lunch at The Cowboy Café before going on. On 26 West we rode through the Shoshone National Forest crossing the Continental Divide at Togwotee Pass with a elevation of 9659 ft. before entering the Teton National Forest. At Moran Junction we took 191 South into Jackson with the Teton Mountain Range to our north. Despite the early conditions a day spent riding with family and friends is still a great day. We are still bless above all measures and thankful for our Lord’s traveling mercies.
