Today’s ride started as we rode south on 283 under a umbrella of blue skies with soft clouds of white. Then it was on to 160 East to 183 South to Clinton , OK.. At Clinton we got I-40 towards Oklahoma City stopping in Yukon, OK. for the night. About the landscape for today on 283 it was flatland with miles of Milo, 160 had rolling hills with farm ponds and flowing creek beds that help provided water for the cattle. Now as far 183 it had the  combination of both 283 and 160. The one exception on 183 was that it was marred with scares from a previous fire. On a bright side for today was seeing Wylie Coyote’s nemesis the world famous Road Runner. Their average height is 12 inch with a speed of 20-25 Mph. The challenges we faced for today was head and cross winds sustaining  25 mph with gusts of 35 mph, also the dust clouds and a occasional Dust Devil. We also rode through The Cheyenne and Arapaho Nation. Tonight we had dinner at Billy Sims BBQ, it  was very good having their ribs and smoked sausage. Billy Sims played football at Oklahoma University and for the Detroit Lions as a running back. Update for today Larry and Kathy just north of Edmond, OK. . Dave, Sonya, David and Cheri made it home safely today around 4:00 pm. May Son shine upon your face and his love bring joy to your heart.
