After breakfast this morning at Joan’s we heading West on 278 with the sun piercing through the early morning clouds behind us and cool temps ahead. Later in the day we turned North on 157 to Muscle Shoals, AL. were we got on 72 West. We stopped in Corinth, MS. at The White Trolley for lunch the home of The World Famous Slug Burger. I know that you all are really wanting to know a little more about the Slug Burger. This burger was developed during The Great Depression, it consist of beef, pork, grits and salt; then it’s made and into a patty and deep fried. The burger cost today is .99 and if you want cheese it’s $1.19. And we did have a few brave souls to try it, yes maybe to your dismay they enjoyed it. Myself I stay with the reliable All American Cheese Burger. Afterwards it was on to Olive Branch, MS. for the night. Also to the brother or brothers who bought our breakfast this morning, we thank you for the blessing. You never know how, when or where a blessing might come. But when one does come along you will definitely know it. It could as simple as a gentle smile with a soft spoken voice from a stranger, who gives you enough room for all for your hungry riding friends to have lunch together. Remember it’s not always the big blessing that brings warmth to the heart. We are thankful for our Heavenly Father’s traveling mercy and keeping us safe today as we begin our journey out West. Tomorrow we are heading to Russellville, AR.. God’s Speed and have a blessed evening.
