Before heading out on today’s ride it was breakfast at Old South. This restaurant understands the meaning of hospitality with smiling faces and doesn’t hurt that they have very affordable prices. Then it was out 64 West with crisp temps as we rode along the Arkansas River. Then in Ozark we turn North on 23 also known as the Pig Trail Scenic Byway was designated this because of it’s steeps hills and hairpin turns. While other say it is because the curves reminds them of a curling pig’s tail. No matter the reason is well worth the experience, it just not about the ride it is also about the scenery, a chance to feel the presents of God through Hid beautiful creation. Afterwards it was West on 412 then 49 North to Pig Trail Harley Davidson. Leaving Rodgers out 102 West and 59 South to Silaim Springs were we got back on 412 West towards Tulsa, OK.. 102 and 59 are also two other good roads to ride; 102 is once you clear Bentonville (birthplace of Walmart). We are in Sands Springs, OK. for the night and tomorrow we will be riding to Kansas. The ladies left today and making their first stop in Paducah, KY.. After their arrival it was to the Quilt Museum and a little sight seeing along the river. Final note you never know when God is going to give you an opportunity to share, pray or to fellowship with someone. Point is that are we not supposed be prepared in and out of season. I am truly thankful for His wonderful opportunities that He gives me.
