This morning after breakfast it was overcast skies with brief showers as we traveled 569 West to I-5 south then on to Oregon 58 South, through Willamette National Forest which is part of the Cascade Range. Then it was on 97 South where we saw a train with 3 of its cars spray painted with (Stop Cop City), who would ever believe that you would see sometime like this out here in Oregon. Michele said the train must have come from the Atlanta area. Later we traveled through Deschutes National Forest. These national Forest are truly wonderful landscapes of mountains spotted with mountain lakes as the rivers and creeks snake their way through the mountains Landscape, that sometimes are wearing a blanket of snow. Eventually we took highway 62 know as Crater Lake Hwy, as you draw closer to the top of the volcano and the highway 62 becomes the volcanic scenic by way. Then it was to Klamath falls, OR for the night.
