WE left Tonopah, NV this morning after having breakfast at Strawberry Hill, then it was out US6 East back through the High deserts of Nevada. Later we stopped in a primitive rest stop, where we met Rick from Carson City, Nv. We fellowshipped for a while and presented him a cross before leaving. During our conversation he told us about a place in Rachel, NV. off of NV 375 which is also called Extraterrestrial Hwy. Upon our arrival we went to the Little A’LE Inn which is located 1.5 miles from area 51.Where we made some new friends. after lunch and a short visit, it was back on the road to US6 east. Later it was NV 93 E also called the Pony Express Trail towards Wendover, Utah for the next couple of days. Today we drove through the Humboldt National Forest and the Great Basin National Park. National Forest in the High Desert is not like you think about a forest back home, in the High Desert it consists of dirt, sagebrush, a few wildflowers and if lucky a occasional tree.
