This is just to let everyone know that all parties are back home. Dale and Susan made it back Sunday, Paul returned Tuesday evening and all are doing well. With all we have seen and the amazing places we have been; we are still at awe with Gods art work. Gods hand is always there if we would just take hold ( Becky this is for you). Gods Speed from Don, Michele and Mike until the next trip.

We left Danridge, Tn. this morning riding Hwy 92 South to 411 South passing The Bush Bean Plant the only one in the country. Passing along The Smokey Mountains an afew more lakes and streams. A slight chill in the air caused by over cast skies and fog in the low areas, but still a great day. We are very blessed to be able to complete this journey by God’s traveling mercies and guiding hands. We have riden the Sierra’s to Applachian Mountains, from Grand Canyon to The Valley’s of the corn. From backroads to Interstates. over rivers and lakes. which he allowed us to see , smell and touch part of this country that God created with such beauty and in some cases words or pictures can not do it justice. Michele completed 3 corner states, 30 states and 7,622 miles. Mike and I completed 4 corner states, 34 states and 11,107 miles in 31 days. So we thank the good Lord for his protection and guidance for allowing us to see his creation.

We departed from Winchecter, Va. this morning riding down I-81 to Tn.. Traveling by The Shenandoah Valley and The Blue Ridge Mountains, God’s wonders never ceases to amaze me with their beauty and wonderous creation of these gifts. The rain started to roll in at Bristol, Tn. at Danridge we called it a day, after doing 409 miles and a total of 10,777. On another note Michele has riden 7,392 miles of that with us. We now have added NJ. , De. , Md. , WV. , Va. and Tn. brings our total to 34 states. Michele is getting anxious to be home to see the children and grandchild to include the one due in Oct.; Well that makes two of us. So may God be the light unto your path in life.

We had a later start this morning after having breakfast at Triplets (named because the owner has triplets) and saying our goodbyes to Tony. He is back at home in East Brady, Pa.. We rode down I-95 South to Delaware, were traffic was just terrible so went West on 273 to Maryland. In Md. we had some great roads and scenic by-ways one named Horses and Hounds. Also rode in the valley’s of the corn (so much corn). If you are ever in Md. ride Hwys 137 and 138 to include the surrounding roads. Then you should stop on Hwy 1 and have lunch with the great people at Ball Park Diner. We had a short stop at Chesapeake Harley Davidson. Finally made our way to I-81 South were we rode to Winchester, Va.. Adding NJ. , De. , Md. , WV. and Va. bring Mike and I to 33 States. With us riding through Delaware this allowed me to sucessfully complete riding in all the lower 48 states. To update all, Dale and Susan are in South Va. and should be home tomorrow. Paul is on his way home last know location he was going through Co.. It was only 354 miles today and brings us to 10,368. God always knows what we need, for example yesterday we pulled off the interstate to look for a hotel but could not find it, so we pulled into a Mickey “D” parking lot. There was a man getting on his motorcycle. When I aked if he knew where the hotel was he stated sure and that he had nothing to do at that point. He delivered us to the front door. Some times you never know were blessing will come from. One of the routes we took also turned out to be near Mike’s family and we were able to visit with them before heading on.

Left Maine this morning riding back through NH. and Ma. on our way to Rhode Island. After RI. we went back across Ct. and New York on our way to New Jersey. We rode Hwy 23. 94 and 521 throught western NJ. a lot of old homes and Churchs to include other bulidings. Still amazed with the landscape and its beauty that God has given us. So Mike and I have offically completed the 4th leg and started the final run. Tony will be leaving us tomorrow to ride back to East Brady, Pa.. We rode 432 miles today and to date 10,014 miles. So may God shine his glory on your face and his warmth in your heart.

Then we took I-91 North up to Vt. after that we got on Hwy 9 East over to Concord, NH. and out on Hwy 4 East to Maine. The country side was just beautful and breath taking from the lakes, rolling hills and the mountains. Arriving in Maine the first matter at hand was to get Michele and Tony somewhere for lobster. As you might be able to tell that they both seem to be quite satisfied. Mike and I have now riden in the four corner states of the lower fortyeight. Tomorrow we will start our jounery towards Ga. and Tony back to Pa. We now have added the following state Mn., Wi., In., IL., Oh., Pa., Ny., Ct., Ma., Vt., NH.and Maine bring our count to 28. Left at 6:30 am this morning riding in to Kittanning Holler with a heavy fog. As the Sun was trying to peer through the clouds you would catch a glimpse of its light as it bounced off the morning dew. The only sound that could be heard was that of our motors rumbling through the valley. The picture of the fog with a dark spot in it, is Tony riding in front of us. Rode on to I-80 East to Du Boise, Pa. to visit the Harley dealer and had breakfast at the diner. Left there continuing on I-80 to 380 North towards Scranton, Pa. than onto I-84 East to Middletown, New York were we called it a day. We did ride through the Appalachian and Pocono Mountains. Completed 416 miles today that brought our total to 9211 miles. We all are thankful To God for his traveling mercies and guidance.

Tony used to work for Cobb County Govt. before coming back home to care of his Mom. So after as short reunion we headed to Kittanning, Pa. for the rest of the day; Tony had lunch with us before leaving to go get Anna. Tony and Anna return later this evening to have dinner with us, as you may notice Mike’s face when the dessert came out (Kings Family Rest.). Rode Hwy 66 South back to I-80 and through Indiana to Ohio. We took 680 over to Youngstown, Ohio for the night after completeing 503 miles and bringing the total to 8684. We stopped in Menomonie for breakfast before continuing on I-94 until reaching I-90 South which we took to Wis Dells, Wi. then got on Hwy 12. We rode East in to the town of Saulk City, Wi. that is were Michele took the picture of The Vetrans Memorial. Once in Madison we got 90/39 South took 39 to in to Illinois. Once in IL. there were no state welcome signs but they sure where waiting at the toll booth for us. Continue on 39 South then on to I-80 East were we rode to Ottawa, IL. for the night. The landscape pretty much same throught out these states rolling hills, a few lakes and farmland. We still are enjoying the sceneary no matter where we have been. Michele and Mike have bee a real blessing for me on these legs of my trip as well as others who have shared in this adventure. Today we traveled 471 miles bring us to 8181 miles. So Gods Speed from Don, Michele and Mike.
