Left around 7:00 am today with 52 deg. and fog. The fog at times was so heavy it was like a lite rain and other times it was so thick it was like riding on a snake blind folded. As the fog started to lift and campers were stirring you could smell the smoke from their campfires in the air. So with that you knew that life was starting to move in the woods. We rode through the Redwood National Forest on Hwy. 101 and The Coast Mountain Range. Michele has now been to the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean, also stood face to face with a giant Redwood. She also saw her first Elk in the Redwoods. From there we got on 199 which went through the Smith River National Park and Six Rivers Park they lie in The Siskyou Mountain Range. The rivers were just beautiful with the Sun bouncing off the water as it rushs over the rocks and boulders that lie beneath them. We continued on 199 into Oregon that runs through The Klamath Mountains to Gants Pass where we got on I-5 to Portland. We took 205 around to the east side for the night. Mileage for today was 428 and to date 5616. God’s beauty is so breath taking and we are at awe knowing he created this for all to enjoy. How can someone not believe? Note from the last pictures the locals are in search of that mask man, the crime committed being from the South.
