Left Portland area around 7:00 am, heading West on 84 along the Columbia River which runs through the Cascade Mountians. We were riding in Oregon and looking at Washington on the Northern banks of the Columbia. The river runs 1243 miles, the longest in the Northwest and has fourteen hydroeletric dams. We also rode pass Mitchell Point then on to 82 West into Washington then getting on Hwy 395. We stopped at Rattlesnake Mountian Harley Davidson in Kennewick, Wa.. That is were they told us we were going to start riding into the desert which was really flat land and farm lands. We had a great day and are at Fairchild Air Force Base for the night about 13 miles south of Spokane. Rode 394 miles today and we are at 6010 miles.Completeing the 3rd legs of our journey we now start towards the East. The Columbia River reminds me of how deep Gods love is for me that he sent is only son to die on the cross for you and I.
