This morning’s departure was similar to yesterday minus the showers. We first at breakfast at Penny’s (a diner style from the 50’s), absolutely worth the stop. Then we went Buffalo Bill’s Ranch before heading west on 30. After 30 we took 26 West were we stopped at Lake McConaughy , Chimney Rock (National Monument) and then Dwyer Junction before getting on US 25 North. Again I am believer in riding the back roads of American. You can miss the Mom and Pop joints, the sights and the history of Small Town American otherwise. I highly recommend these roads when traveling Nebraska and Wyoming. We are at Casper, WY. for the night. How often are we reminded that God is in control, snow in September and temps at the 30 mark. May the Son always shine in your heart.
