Left Bismarck, ND. around 7:15 am went out I-94, through Eastern North Dakato which is mainly flatland and wetland. Fargo, ND. is the home of Roger Maris, Michele noticed that as we passed through (Ms. baseball). Crossing into Minnesota at first it seems alot like Eastern ND. but then you start noticing small lakes on both side of the road and then rolling hills. There are so many lakes now we understand the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Mn.). Both eastern ND. and Western Mn. are very green and alot more trees but still have farm land and some cattle scattered into the landscape. We did ride over the Red River, on that note The Red, Mississippi and The St. Louis Rivers make up the watershed system in Minnesota. The day was mainly overcast needing to a wear a jacket all day, had a slight sprinkle of rain but nothing to really speak of. Miles today was 412 and 7710 to date. May you take the time to .enjoy family and friends for we never know what tommorow will bring. So may the Good Lord bless your path in life. Brother Gunny we have seen alot of trikes on the road, mainly Harleys but also alot of the Can-Am Spyders. They seem to handle well and have alot of storage space, just a little info.

With a Cracker Barrel near by we didn’t leave until about 7:15 am, you know we had to have a good breakfast. Just a short blast up the road to I-94 heading towards Bismarck, ND.. Once on the road it was rolling hills, cattle farms and farmland with bales of hay and rows of milo grain. The Yellowstone river reached out to touch portions of I-94. The Yellowstone River is the longest free flowing river in the lower 48 states. We did ride through The Little Missouri National Grasslands, by the Painted Canyon and crossed over The Missouri River. Michele and I have seen purple mountains majesty, have riden through amber waves of grain and been from sea to shining sea. We are always in awe with God’s creation. We all have agreed that God’s beauty is every were and its worth the time to slow down an enjoy it. So may God’s glory light your path of life. We rode 430 mile today bringing the total to 7298.

We hit the road about 6:30 am going South on Hwy 93 with the Flathead River to the East and The Blackfoot to the West as the Sun starting show its head on the horizon with a slight chill in the air. The payment was rolling underneath us as we clicked off miles, then on to I-90. We across the Continental Divide for the last time at Butte, Mt. elevation was at 6393 ft through the Rockies. The Yellowstone and Boulder Rivers laced themselves around I-90 as we run the highway. After a short vist to Yellowstone Harley we went up the road a piece to Famous Daves BBQ for lunch in Bozeman, Mt.. Rode to Billings, Mt. for the night; completing 483 miles and bring our total to 6868. Rode by a town in Mt. named Opportunity which made me think what have we done with the opportunities that God has given us?

Left around 7:00 am today with 52 deg. and fog. The fog at times was so heavy it was like a lite rain and other times it was so thick it was like riding on a snake blind folded. As the fog started to lift and campers were stirring you could smell the smoke from their campfires in the air. So with that you knew that life was starting to move in the woods. We rode through the Redwood National Forest on Hwy. 101 and The Coast Mountain Range. Michele has now been to the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean, also stood face to face with a giant Redwood. She also saw her first Elk in the Redwoods. From there we got on 199 which went through the Smith River National Park and Six Rivers Park they lie in The Siskyou Mountain Range. The rivers were just beautiful with the Sun bouncing off the water as it rushs over the rocks and boulders that lie beneath them. We continued on 199 into Oregon that runs through The Klamath Mountains to Gants Pass where we got on I-5 to Portland. We took 205 around to the east side for the night. Mileage for today was 428 and to date 5616. God’s beauty is so breath taking and we are at awe knowing he created this for all to enjoy. How can someone not believe? Note from the last pictures the locals are in search of that mask man, the crime committed being from the South.
